NAMSAA - New Alipore Multipurpose School Alumni Association - organized their third annual cultural evening "Ebhabeo Phirey Aasa Jay" at Madhusudan Mancha, Kolkata on Saturday, the 12th September, 2009. The programme started with lighting the Pradip together with the opening song "Aloker Ei Jharnadharay". After the welcome note from the anchor, Shri Amitava Chatterjee, the Secretary of the School Managing Committee Shri Debabrata Gayen and the General Secretary of NAMSAA Shri Kingshuk Datta spoke to the audience.Six merit prizes, including 4 memorial prizes were then awarded to present students for excellence either in academics or in sports.This was followed by a group work on a tribute to Salil Chowdhury, one of the most important exponents of Bengali songs. This programme - O Alor Pathajatri - consisted of a collection of his songs and a well written narration of his work. Finally, the drama "Sajano Bagan" by Manoj Mitra was staged. This was directed by Biswajit Chakraborty. All the programmes were in-house. And all of them were very neatly presented with great success.The programme was attended by about 700 - strong audience including past and present teachers, students and also friends and members of our families. On 2nd August 2009 NAMSAA ventured to move out of the school premises, in the bigger society – our First Voluntary Blood Donation Camp saw 39 friends donating blood for the service to the society.

NAMSAA contributed a sum of Rs.10,000 towards the relief fund for the Aila Victims through Bharat Sevashram Sangha.

Various activities like Career Option Counseling for the present students, introducing them to various scholarship opportunities are now being organized by NAMSAA.

The First Lecture of  NAMSAA POPULAR TALK Series was held on 25 October , 2008 at School Library Room. More than 200 Students from Class IX,X,XII and XII along with some Teachers from Morning and Day section attended the Session.  Title of the Lecture was BIG BANG COSMOLOGY - THE MODEL FOR OUR  UNIVERSE presented by Alumni Dr. Narayan Banerjee, Professor, Dept. of Astro Physics, Indian Institute of Science and Research.

Our Ex-Teachers Sri. Gitadeb Bhattacharyya, Sri. Ranendra Nath Dutta, Sri Bankim Chandra Pal, Smt. Gouri Gupta and Smt. Pratima Das (Panja) were felicitated on the Reunion day event.

A Medical Health Camp for the Alumni and Ex and Present Teachers was organised at the School premises on 18th November 2007.

Ex-Teacher Sri. Bibhuti Nath Gupta was felicitated on that Show at Madhusudan Mancha, on 1st September 2007.
